Question : What is the proper way to wash your hands? To properly wash hands, especially in light of the COVID-19 crisis, it is imperative that you lather the cleanser on your hands for a minimum of at least 20 seconds before rinsing with water thoroughly. Some people have mentioned singing a song such as the Happy Birthday song since even children know it to ensure the 20 seconds elapses. Frequent hand washing is recommended over the use of antibacterial gel due to the fact that we touch door handles and other surfaces throughout the day.
